Emotional Freedom Techniques
For life events and stressors that have left a deep impression on you, EFT Tapping is a phenomenal choice. Use this service to cut right to the root of the problem and get truly complete with the upsets and emotional injuries of the past. Sometimes called “emotional first aid,” EFT is a great method for those in a high state of stress or emotional urgency.
EFT is a frontline intervention endorsed by the American Psychological Association for PTSD, phobias, and anxiety-related conditions. This approach combines focused attention, acupressure points, and carefully crafted statements help the nervous system to release specific triggering thoughts, memories, and upsets. This work is holistic: of EFT and hypnosis allows me to adapt to your changing needs, using EFT for immediate relief and hypnotherapy for deeper, transformative work. Taken together, hypnosis and EFT offer a comprehensive approach to emotional and mental well-being, addressing issues at both conscious and subconscious levels.
What does it feel like?
Clients have described leaving sessions “very relaxed,” sometimes ready to take a nap, and sometimes more spacious and free, or expansive. Some have likened it to “leaving a day at the spa,” or say they feel “energized and inspired – like how I feel after having a great conversation with a good friend.”
Virtual Format
All sessions are conducted virtually, as I am a virtual-only provider, and we meet over regular video calls. While many believe that somatic approaches, hypnotherapy, and tapping therapies can be performed only in person, that is not the case. All work can be just as effectively provided using the convenience of a virtual setting or video-based appointments. Further, the professional-client relationship/therapeutic alliance can be just as intimate, coordinated, and connected as it is in-person settings. It is not uncommon that clients who were initially hesitant to meet virtually expressed surprise at how connected our sessions tended to be: one client expressed it this way, “It felt more connected to be on [a] video call with you than I’ve ever felt with an in-person therapist!”
